The copper peptide in VIOLETIVA is called GHK-Cu: a short chain of amino acids that binds copper. Copper helps an enzyme involved in forming collagen and elastin do its work, while early peptide research points to a role in visible skin renewal.

Promising, but formulation-specific, small and short-term. Thirty-nine women completed the study, which used a nano-encapsulated copper peptide rather than VIOLETIVA. Results cannot be assumed for other formulas or delivery methods.
