02 / The evidence

GHK-Cu + microneedling research

The science behind the idea.

Explore the most promising signals for copper peptide skincare, facial rejuvenation and hair density. Every source is clearly scoped and separate from VIOLETIVA.

Clinical signal · 8 weeks

The wrinkle data worth watching.

In a randomized, double-blind study, a nano-carrier GHK-Cu serum outperformed its controls on measured facial wrinkle volume and depth after eight weeks. GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide; laboratory research suggests it may support collagen and elastin production, extracellular-matrix renewal and inflammatory regulation.

Measured study outcomes

55.8%lower wrinkle volume vs control
32.8%lower wrinkle depth vs control
31.6%lower wrinkle volume vs comparator peptide

Promising, but formulation-specific, small and short-term. Thirty-nine women completed the study, which used nano-encapsulated GHK-Cu rather than VIOLETIVA. Results cannot be assumed for other formulas or delivery methods.
